The story was simple & predictable indeed ! a typical love story based on an unfaithful fiance..a ran away bride to-be to a rural area & there she fell in love with a rural good looking type guy.. frankly, i watched the movie because of Farid Kamil ! the charismatic new born actor of his era with fresh look !! Besides, he acts and can direct movies well. My family & i really enjoyed cinema-ing this comedy love story !!

Synopsis :

Eva played by (Nora Danish) is a daughter of Tan Sri Zaini (Zaibo). As a single child, she is pampered since childhood. Upon returning from studying abroad, she starts to work in her father’s company. Tan Sri Zaini’s close friend Datuk Hamzah plans to marry Eva with his playboy son Remy (Zed Zaidi) in order to control Tan Sri Zaini’s wealth. Things turn awry as Eva catches Remy kissing another woman, which forces Eva to leave town abruptly.

Upon reaching a rural hotel, she meets Omar Rudy (Farid Kamil), a hotel staff who accommodates her complaints and even being her tour guide at a small town.

Watching "Magika" Twice

Qlap Cineplex 4pm

With magic and musical themes and directed by Edry KRU are some factors to attract me to cinema. After office hours..Ameng and i headed directly to Qlap Cineplex to feel the colors and beautiful cinematography of the movie. Credits to all casts and Edry precisely for creating a new dimension in Malaysia's film industry with limited budget (not comparing to Hollywood budget !) I really enjoy watching MAGIKA...

My favourite character in the movie is the "Datuk Bendahara" played by Sabri Yunos - full of wits in his Kelantanese dialect though his part in the movie is for only 5 minutes!

Malik's late mother appears in his dream. This scene really touches my heart.
"ALWAYS TOGETHER THROUGH THICK & THIN"

Badang character played by Mawi is not really shown as someone strong. The old folks said that Badang could uproot a huge tree with just one hand but in the movie Badang is not even able to untie himself from a 1cm thick rope..hahahaha~ but overall his acting is quite good than his role in Jin Notti

Energetic Charm in Step Up 3D

Forget the poor script and plot ! and concentrate on the energetic dance and technics. Adam Sevani pulls off a great naughty playful moves at the start of the movie. The scene itself is enough to make me wanting to watch the rest of the movie.

Frankly i didn't have high hopes for the film at all. I'm not really into dance movies. But during the film, with each minute i became more and more in love with it. I mean WOW!! step up 3D delivers like no other dance movie out there. The 3D is incredible, the dancing is out of this world and the songs on the film are amazing!

My favorite scene is when Moose (Adam Sevani) and Camille (Alyson Stoner) did a rendition of Broadway's "I won't dance".
