The vocalist of the Malaysian nasyid group, Rabbani, Mohd Asri Ibrahim, died of a heart attack at the Pantai Medical Centre on Thursday, 13th. He was 40. Mohd Asri collapsed during a recording of a television programme in Angkasapuri about 10.30am and was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead at 11am.

Asri leaves behind a wife and six children.He was laid to rest at the Shah Alam City Council Muslim cemetery in Section 21, Shah Alam, Selangor, after the Asar prayer.

Rabbani bagged the Most Popular Nasyid Group/Artist award of the Berita Harian's Anugerah Bintang Popular for eight consecutive years. Their albums entitled Iqrar-1421, Intifada, Qiblat and Nostalgia Nada Murni, also won the Best Nasyid Album for 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2009, respectively.

Synopsis :

Margaret Tate (Sandra Bullock) is the executive editor-in-chief of a book publishing company, Colden Books, who forces her assistant Andrew Paxton (Ryan Reynolds) to marry her in order to avoid being deported to Canada. He grudgingly accepts, under the condition that he is promoted to the position of editor. When the government investigates, the two are forced to spend the weekend with his parents in Alaska in order to sell the lie. The family suggest they could marry the same weekend, and they reluctantly accept. They start to fall genuinely in love as they spend more and more time together. Because of this, during the wedding ceremony, Margaret decides she cannot do this to Andrew and confesses the business arrangement in front of everyone--including the immigration officer handling their case.

She is then told that she has 24 hours to get back to Canada and thus goes back to New York to pack her things. Upon doing so, however, Andrew shows up at the office and confesses his love for her in front of the entire office staff, proposing marriage all over again ~

DVD-ing "CORNER WITH LOVE"

Corner with Love is a Taiwan drama with good actors, great music and a very sweet storyline. I enjoy watching it and make me feel to fall in love again & again..I rate this drama 5 out of 5.

Synopsis :

Xin Lei (Barbie Hsu) is a girl that comes from a wealthy family and is engaged to Lu Jia Xin, son of another wealthy family, but everything changes for her after an accident. Qin Lang (Alan Luo)is a struggling artist from Taiwan that goes to Shanghai to pursue his dream. Fate has it one day as Xin Lei’s driver was on the road and Qin Lang on his bicycle happened to be on the same corner that they collide. Luckily it was a minor accident with no injuries, but Princess Xin Lei feels that it’s Qin Lang’s fault for not watching where he was going and vice versa. They didn’t think they would ever see each other again but it is a small world after all. Xin Lei has a rude awakening when her parents leave to go in hiding without saying goodbye because their company goes into bankruptcy. They left her with only a plane ticket to Taiwan and a key. Feeling even more abandoned, her fiancé was forced by his parents to break off their engagement as well.

With no one and nothing left, she leaves to go to Taiwan thinking that the key her parents left her was to a fancy vacation resort, but it turns out to be a shack that is already occupied by Qin Lang and his grandmother. With a bad taste still lingering from the bike/car accident the two struggle to get along. Xin Lei has a lot to overcome with the new lifestyle she needs to have and the shock of losing her parents. Qin Lang understands her pain and even though he can’t stand her rich girl stubborn attitude, he helps her along the way. The events that happen during the time they are together and develop their relationship are a mixture of comical and touching emotions. Her fiancé still cares about her and after months have gone by helps her reunite with her parents. Will Xin Lei return to her princess lifestyle or has she enjoyed the simple life?

Watching G.I JOE : The Rise Of Cobra

That nite i was very boring.. so i called up Juen & asked him accompanying me watching G.I Joe The rise of Cobra..tima kacih Juen sal mau wayang-ing with me..i booked tickets for 9.30 pm show. Juen baru jua sampai ke hostel dari Tutong. Overall, i rate this movie 4.5 out of 5. Thumbz up!!

Lama dah we 1 family inda BBQ-ing..besides, kami busy lately ani with works~when mom asked us to have a small gathering, we jumped to joys..wahh~~ kes iski jua toh.. bukan selalu dapat berkumpul semua anak-anak & menantu-menantu..kan kan..except Snowhyte & Diana. Both couldn't attend ; Diana is currently in Australia & Snowhyte sama parents nya attending her cousin's doa selamat ceremony.

Actually we, d whole family were fasting on that day..Nisfu Sya'ban bah..that's why bab BBQ ani suka..hehe..kan tau apa menu kami ?? scroll lerr...
